Dr. Richard Weimar is a native of Minnesota raised in, as he says with a smile, the vacation wonderland of Fridley. He attended the University of Minnesota from which he received his BA degree in 1978 and his DDS degree in 1983. He opened his practice the following year and has provided exceptional dental care to the Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park communities for over 30 years. He holds memberships in the Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He is accomplished in almost all phases of dentistry, with his mission to create a dental office where patients can receive almost all procedures in one office. He seeks to minimize the number of times patients are sent to specialty offices for treatment, thereby creating smoother, more efficient treatment for patients with complicated dental issues.

Dr. Richard Weimar is committed to providing his patients with the latest technology to offer patients a comfortable and as pain free an experience as possible. A leader in advanced dental technology since the early 1990s, he has been among the first in the state to utilize CEREC one appointment crowns, The Wand syringeless anesthetic system, air abrasion, intra oral cameras, digital x-rays, conscious sedation, 3D cone beam CTs. He has been certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support since 2004.
